The College of Biblical Studies is excited to announce First Day Complete, a program that conveniently provides you access to all of your required course materials on or before the first day of class at no additional cost. The program is included in the cost of tuition.

How it works:
- One month before classes start, you will receive an email instructing you to review your courses and provided a mailing address for physical books.
- When your physical books ship, you will receive an email notification.
- Electronic books are available starting the first day of class. They will be delivered within MyCourses (Blackboard) and accessible through the Yuzu app.
- Extra cost not included! Your tuition covers the cost of books and shipping.

OPT IN to the MyBooks Program
To receive your books, you must provide a mailing address. If you are not logged into your CBS account, you will receive an error. Please log into the MyCBS student portal and try again using the MyBooks link.
*Shipping is included free of charge. For international addresses, customs charges may be added by the country.
Opt OUT of the MyBooks Program
CBS allows students to opt out of the program and purchase or rent books for themselves. To opt-out for fall 2024, please visit https://cbshouston.edu/mybooks-opt-out by August 14, 2024.
When you opt out, Barnes and Nobles will provide the opportunity to purchase or rent books through their online bookstore at a discount. They also price match books from Amazon and other vendors.
